Buffalo Limousine was founded in 1960 by John & Camille Patti as an extension to the family’s funeral service business. Over the years John Patti became the pioneer of the chauffeured services business in the greater Western New York and Southern Ontario areas. Through John & Camille’s efforts to provide exceptional ground transportation services, the company quickly grew into Buffalo’s premiere chauffeured services company. They Service executive travel, concert performing artists, sporting events, tours, airport transfers, funerals, weddings, proms, special events and occasions.
Over the next eight years, John & Camille built a large customer base and a reputation for providing the best service in the industry.
1968 – John & Camille sold the family funeral business to focus 100% of their attention on Buffalo Limousine.
1970 – In the early 1970’s John & Camille Patti revolutionized the industry by becoming the first company to adopt a corporate service business model with flat-rate limousine airport transfers and chauffeur-driven sedans.
Buffalo Limousine was also at the forefront of technology with two‐way radios allowing for direct vehicle dispatch and in the late 1970’s added cellular phones for client convenience. These services were unparalleled at the time.
1980 – In the late 1980’s Buffalo Limousine purchased the first fleet of stretch limousines in the Western New York region.
1986-1988 – John Patti served on the board of the National Limousine Association.
1988 – John Patti formed the the Niagara Frontier Livery Association.
Over the years as John and Camille’s children grew into adults. Their daughters Carla and Julie with their son John worked for the business. Carla and Julie performed work in the office and John became a mechanic. Carla married Frank Boccio who was a chauffeur for Buffalo Limousine and Julie married Chris Kremer, an IT Professional. Buffalo Limousine is now an extended family business with everyone contributing their talents to support, grow and improve the business.
1990’s – Buffalo Limousine continued with their long-standing tradition of rigorous chauffeur screening and training programs to ensure quality personnel. With the support of their son-in-law Chris Kremer, they implemented new computer technology and software for managing their business.
1997 – Buffalo Limousine ventured on to the emerging internet with its first domain name and website provided by Julie’s husband, Chris Kremer.
1999 – Buffalo Limousine was awarded “Operator of the Year” by the International Taxi and Livery Association.
2000 – John & Camille’s daughter Carla and her husband and chauffeur Frank Boccio took ownership of the business and expanded its reach to include national and international markets. Service is now offered to clients in nearly any city in the world with one phone call. This cutting edge business model, strong industry relationships and continued focus on customer service has allowed Buffalo Limousine to continue to be one of the best ground transportation companies in the industry.
2007 – Buffalo Limousine earned the Boston Coach award for “100% error-free rides”.
2014 – John Patti passed away in August 2014 and will always remain the face of Buffalo Limousine. John’s legacy of providing professional chauffeured services will live on with Camille, Carla, Julie, John Jr., Frank and Chris cherishing John’s legacy.
2016 – Frank & Carla’s son Nick, a recent graduate of John Carroll University joins Buffalo Limousine as the 3rd generation learning and growing with the business.
2019 – Our fleet has expanded and diversified into larger limousine and executive style vehicles, and has provided over 14,000 rides this year. We are continuing to keep our fleet clean and up-to-date and are working to expand our worldwide services affiliate network.
2020 – As we turn the decade Buffalo Limousine is celebrating 60 years of providing exceptional chauffeured services. Fun fact – only 12% of family businesses across the country make it to a third generation.
Buffalo Limousine’s worldwide affiliate network has grown significantly with Nick’s networking efforts in our industry, representing Buffalo Limousine at conferences, networking events, and the like. Nick is a graduate of the 2019 Leadership Buffalo Rising Leaders Class, a program that selects emerging leaders in the Buffalo area to explore the complexity of leadership around important local issues.
We are proud to announce that Nick Boccio has been promoted to the General Manager position and is overseeing all aspects of the business in collaboration with Frank and Carla.
